Siddique joined the group as a PhD student in 2020 as part of the Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) CDT. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences at The University of Dundee before carrying out an MRes degree in Chemistry at The University of Glasgow within the group of Dr Andrew Jamieson. By utilising his background in chemical biology, Siddique is working on developing libraries of cell permeable cyclic peptides. Outside of the lab, Siddique enjoys travelling and martial arts such as Muay Thai.
