About
Emma graduated with an MChem in 2019 from Newcastle University, including an industrial placement year in synthetic chemistry at AbbVie in Ludwigshafen, Germany. She then completed a two-year R&D Graduate Programme at AstraZeneca in Cambridge, before joining the Kawamura group for her PhD in Chemical Biology. Outside the lab, Emma enjoys travelling and watching rugby.
