Hannah is reading for an MChem in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry at Newcastle University, completing her investigative project in the Kawamura group under the supervision of Dr Chiara Maniaci. She is working on the synthesis of activity-based chemical probes to acquire knowledge and understanding of fundamental biochemistry techniques and peptide synthesis. Outside the lab, Hannah is a keen runner, badminton player and loves travelling.
