Oliwia joined the group as a MoSMed PhD student. She is a graduate of the University of Salerno (Italy), where she completed her final year project under the supervision of Prof. Irene Izzo, working on the synthesis of peraza-macrocycles. After moving to the UK, she first read her Master’s degree at Newcastle University, then worked at NewChem Technologies (Newcastle upon Tyne) as a synthetic chemist for a year.
In her spare time, she enjoys developing her illustration skills, eating thai food, and spoiling her tabby cat, Maggie
