Tom graduated with an MSci in Natural sciences from the university of Cambridge, specialising in chemical biology. He carried out a research project in under the supervision of Prof. Sir Shankar Balasubramanian for his integrated masters before joining the Kawamura group in 2021 as a PhD student on the Molecular Sciences for Medicine (MoSMed) CDT.
Outside of the lab, Tom enjoys fencing and is a first aider for St. John Ambulance.
